Day 01: Arrival at Jodhpur & Local Sight Seeing

Upon arrival at Jodhpur Railway Station / Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative & transferred to the Hotel by road. After freshen-up, we move for half day local sightseeing Mehrangarh Fort situated at an altitude of about 125 metres is spread over an area of 5 sqm. Km and has seven gates. The Jaswant Thada was a white marble memorial built-in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899. The Umaid Bhawan is a majestic building that presently functions as a hotel and museum. The Mandore Gardens, situated about 8 km from Jodhpur, has cenotaphs of the Jodhpur rulers. The Government Museum and Zoo are located in the pleasant Umaid Gardens. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 02: Jodhpur Local Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a sightseeing tour of the erstwhile Marwar capital. From the imposing Meherangarh Fort to the delicately wrought jharokhas of the havelis, the citadel has some of the finest examples of Rajput masony.At the foot of the fort lies the Jaswant Thada, a richly carved white marble cenotaph. later Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, is one of the world's largest private residences. A part of the palace is managed by Taj Hotels. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice has 347 rooms and serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Umaid Bhawan Palace was called Chittar Palace during its construction due to use of stones drawn from the Chittar hill where it is located. Ground for the foundations of the building was broken on 18 November 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the construction work was completed in 1943. The Palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine. Take an afternoon jeep safari ( AT OWN COST ) to the picturesque Bishnoi village to experience rustic Rajasthan life. The drive through the countryside abounds with black bucks and chinkaras grazing serenely, and migratory birds dot the skies. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Jodhpur to Sam Dunes Jaisalmer ( 7 Hrs. )

After morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Jaisalmer, "the desert city" by road. Jaisalmer is a former medieval trading centre and princely state in the western Indian state of Rajasthan, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Known as the "Golden City," it's distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture. Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort, a sprawling hilltop citadel buttressed by 99 bastions. Behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja's Palace and intricately carved Jain temples. Check-in to your hotel on arrival and rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities. Day 04: Sand Dunes to Jaisalmer

Today we enjoy the sunrise. Sunrise is equally beautiful and with the soft morning light the tourist tents give a good view. After breakfast, we check out from our Tent and proceed to Jaisalmer. Check at Hotel.After Checkin at Hotel, we visit Clock Tower and later visit to the manmade lake (Gadisar Lake) if time permits we also visit Fort, Bazaar and the old mansions known as "Havelis". People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Day 05: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur Drop ( 6 Hrs )

After breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for Jodhpur by road. On arrival you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board the flight/Train back to home.
