Day 1 : Arrive Cochin & drive to Munnar (appx. 5hrs.)
Upon arrival at Cochin meet and greet at the Airport or Railway Station. Later we proceed towards the hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’ and will surely hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way you can visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked-in to a hotel or a resort. Overnight stay at Munnar hotel/resort..
Day 2 : Munnar Local Sight Seeing.
Brace the playful morning light and wake up to a beautiful morning at the hotel/resort. Get freshened up and enjoy a healthy breakfast. Post this, you will be guided for a full day sightseeing tour wherein you will be visiting the important landmarks and other important places in Munnar. Start the tour with Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Munnar Elephant Ride(Own cost), Rose (Blossom) Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points & Tea Powder Shopping. During the day, you will also visit Eravikulam National Park(Entry tickets own cost) where you can enjoy spotting the exotic Nilgiri Tahr and several other wildlife species. Overnight stay will be in Munnar hotel.
Day 3 : Munnar to Alleppey Houseboat (5hrs.)
Start your day with an appetizing breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and proceed to drive to Alleppey. The houseboat cruise re-starts from Pallathuruthy at 12 Noon. The houseboat travels towards SNDP Thodu, Punnamada Kayal, experiencing the emerald beauty of Kerala. In the late afternoon, visit a nearby village. The other sights you explore is the Kuppapuram, Chitira Palli. The wonderful views of lush paddy fields from your houseboat is spectacular. Enjoy the charming ambiance. The houseboat is anchored for night at Mangalam/Marthandam.
Day 4 : Alleppey HB to Kumarakom by Road (1hrs.)
Post breakfast in the morning, leave by Road for Kumarakom. Upon arrival in Kumarakom, The rest of the day is free to absorb the serenity of your beautiful resort. Kumarakom the charming emerald peninsula jutting into the ever-effervescent Vembanad Lake takes you into the heart of the scenic lake where you'll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes. Sightseeing in Kumarakom includes Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (entrance ticket and boat charges as per actual), an ornithologist's paradise is a favourite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 05 : Proceed from Kumarakom to Kovalam by Road (4hrs.)
Check out from the Hotel and proceed to the next destination. On arrival in Kovalam, check in to the Hotel. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse-sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc. The tropical sun acts so fast that one can see the faint blush of coppery tan on the skin in a matter of minutes. Life on the beach begins late in the day and carries on well into the night. Sightseeing in Trivandrum: Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, Zoo, Art Gallery (All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple).
Day 06 : Kovalam Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a day tour of Kovalam. Kovalam means a grove of coconut trees and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. Kovalam has three beaches separated by rocky outcroppings in its 17 km coastline, the three together form the famous crescent of the Kovalam beach. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. You will visit Thiruvallam Parasuraman Temple, Lighthouse Beach, Kovalam Beach, Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Hawah Beach, Vellayani Lake, Velli Tourist Village and Samudra Beach.
Day 07 : Drop to Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station (1hrs.) TOUR END
After breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for Trivandrum by road. On arrival you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board the flight/Train back to home. Tour Ends With Happy Memories .
